Hello, hello, everyone! It’s Thursday, and you know what that means, don’t you? It’s time for………

THROW BACK THURSDAY!

For those that don’t know, I’ve been making Anime Music Videos (AMV’s) since 2009, but stopped approximately 2 years ago, taking a hiatus, and recently started back up again for this blog! I have several videos on my YouTube account under the name Crazy4Friends (www.youtube.com/Crazy4Friends) that are, as much as I don’t want to seem as if bragging, quite populare – some more so than others. But there’s one video that I feel like haven’t been recognized on my channel all too much, and that is for the series FullMetal Alchemist to the music “Nothing I Won’t Give” by Vic Mignogna, who, surprisingly enough, voices the very main character (older brother) of the very series – Edward Elric, who has lost one leg and one arm and has mechanical leg and arm in their places!

Just a little background on the music, Vic Mignogna wrote the music solely for his character Edward Elric. This is because Ed really would give anything to bring back the body of his brother, Alphonse “Al” Elric. To take a step further, Ed feels as if it’s entirely his fault for his one and only brother having lost his entire body that Al is now forced to use an empty armor as a new body until being able to get back his original and true form. It’s even to the point where Ed would most likely than not be willing to give Al his own body if it means being able to bring his brother’s body back.

Vic Mignogna is a Christian, and he does do voice overs for several big roles in a few series, and even guest starred in a Pokemon episode in one of the more recent seasons. More to add onto Vic Mignogna, he also writes and composes, as well as plays and sings, his own music. He even has at least one CD out, and the one that I personally am aware of is MetaFiction, but he also have done recording of the entire reading for book of John in the bible, and will even play things such as dodgeball with his fans whenever he is asked to come as a guest for panels to various anime conventions all around the country – And he have even made an appearance back in 2011 to AnimeNEXT, which takes place every year in June over in Somerset, New Jersey, where I had the pleasure of meeting him in person dressed as Haruhi Fujoka and asked him to give me a personal ‘Happy 20th Birthday’ wish when giving me an autograph, as well as being able to make him laugh by telling him that the day I get to meet him, I always dreamed of being dressed as Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran High School Host Club series for him having voiced Tamaki Suoh in the very same series if not for Winry Rockbell from FullMetal Alchemist, an extremely close and very old childhood friend of his other infamous role the same series – Edward Elric.

For my Throw Back Thursday, I am throwing back the very AMV I made in honor of not just Vic Mignogna in hopes that he will see what I was able to get done for his Ed Elric character, but also in hopes that I may one day be able to make even a better AMV for Ed and Alphonse, as well as partially for Winry Rockbell, one of these days using the very same music.
