Movie: Horrible Bosses
Genre: Comedy
Third installment of today’s Movie Monday is here!
This time, the closing spotlight of the day goes to Horrible Bosses!
Let me ask you a few questions.
Has there ever been any time of your life where you wanted to kill someone so bad?
How about someone you have worked for?
With Nick, Kurt, and Dale, they work for three horrible bosses, and each of them has a boss that they wish they could kill. The problem is, they just don’t know how to go about with killing their bosses, and in Horrible Bosses movie, the three friends seek help in assistance of murdering their three horrible bosses.
With Nick, he works in a business corporation, and he works for what you would call the Satan himself. Every morning, Nick gets himself to work long before the sun comes up and before anyone else gets to work, and goes home long after the sun has gone down and everyone’s gone home. What’s more, he’s been working for as long and as hard as he have, Nick’s expectations is to get a promotion in the near future. Problem? His boss gives him scotch at 8 in the morning to make him appear like an alcoholic and refuses to give Nick the rights a promotion as he merely raises his own salary and makes his office bigger. When Nick threatens to leave if he doesn’t get the promotion, his boss threatens him in return, saying that the recommendation letter he writes for Nick will only be horrible one and will state that Nick is nothing more than an alcoholic to make it hard for Nick to even find a new job from the bottom up.
When it comes to Kurt, he actually loves his job and he loves his boss. It’s to the point where he views his own boss like his own father while his boss views him like a son. Kurt’s problem? His boss’s son, the crack head. But when his boss dies, the crack head son takes over the company and becomes Kurt’s new boss, which only brings Kurt in wanting to kill his new boss for being a complete donkey’s behind for wanting to fire a pregnant woman if not for a physically disabled man along with stop paying for hospital bills for a man who no longer works in the company due to an accident that actually occurred within that very company. Having to put up with his boss’s son as the new person to be in charge, it hasn’t exactly been the easiest for Kurt.
When it comes to Dale, he has been tagged as a pedophile for peeing in the playground in middle of the dead night that was right next to a bar that he got drunk in. With being labeled a pedophile sex offender, it’s impossible for Dale to actually get a job – Which includes being a dentist, which is something Dale wanted to do since “no one pays you to be a husband unless if you were married to Oprah Winfrey.” His job? He’s a dental assistant to a psychotic dentist who is, as you find out due to an addiction meeting that appears in Horrible Bosses 2 movie, a sex addict. Careless of Dale being in a relationship, engaged no less, his boss still wants to bang him like there is no tomorrow and will sexually harass him day in and day out every single day.
With each of the three friends wanting to get back at their bosses in one way or another, they try and find someone that can actually help them out in making it a successful mission. Question is will they be able to find someone with experience if not for someone that knows what they are doing when it comes to committing murder?
Or will they just chicken out of it all if not for completely failing?
And the bigger question is if they will only end up getting caught red handed by the police in attempted murder?
Only way for you to find out is by watching Horrible Bosses and following the story of the three friends.
